As technology continues to assume more and more of the mundane tasks, the nature of work across the entire economy is undergoing rapid transformation. Job tasks now call for expert thinking and complex communication. As a result, the trend across the economy is toward attaining cognitively skilled employees. Unfortunately, compared with their peers in other industrialized nations, America’s students achieve largely mediocre results on international assessments in the type of problem-solving necessary in today’s economy. In 2006, America’s fifteen year olds ranked below the international average in both math and science literacy for the 30 industrialized nations and below the international average in reading literacy and problem-solving.
Priority Education Solution’s talented leadership team is experienced in dealing with complex and challenging issues facing school districts and represent products that inspire students to develop a passion for learning. To name a few, these include new and exciting opportunities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Integration of STEM concepts across the curriculum, coupled with continued emphasis on the integration of reading in the early grades through graduation, enhances literary in multiple fields and fosters student interest. Our products can also be introduced to the gifted and talented students and provide support to those at-risk students that are in jeopardy of dropping out or not receiving a diploma.
